New Patient Examination
A new patient consultation is carried out if you are attending the practice for the first time. This is about you getting to know us and visa-versa. We are proud of our practices and the facilities they offer so if you are interested you will be shown around the practice. Once you have been introduced to your dentist they will record your medical history and will listen to any concerns you may have about your teeth and your oral health. Your teeth, gums and mouth will then be carefully examined including an oral cancer check. Where necessary x-rays will be taken. After your consultation your dentist will discuss with you what treatments are necessary if any to help you protect your teeth and make the most of your smile.

General Examination
Looking after your oral health is the best way of ensuring you have a great smile and healthy teeth for life. Regular examinations help stop small problems becoming big ones. We recommend a check-up every six months. At each appointment your teeth, gums and mouth will be carefully examined including an Oral cancer check. Where necessary x-rays will be taken. After your consultation your dentist will discuss with you any developments since your last appointment and what treatments are necessary if any to help you protect your teeth and make the most of your smile.
